Inventory Tracking

We can help with both inventory tracking software as well as the needed hardware. You will need a thermal barcode printer to print out you product labels unless the items already have UPC codes printed on them. The printer is also used to print location labels that will be placed on your shelves. Next you will need barcode scanner to read the printed barcodes. These are available in wired, stationary versions or wireless versions that use either RF or Bluetooth Radios. This is so the item can be scanned in or out of your inventory. The third piece is a portable data collector. This is a mobile computer that is running your inventory software on it and can pull items out of your inventory in real time as the items are picked from your inventory. The last piece of hardware would be the wireless infrastructure in your warehouse. This is so the portable data collectors can communicate with your system. We can supply the access points and switches as well as have it installed.

Asset Tracking

This uses the same hardware as inventory tracking but the thermal label printer would print asset tags that would be attached to company assets like computers, tools, and even furniture. This allows you to know where and who has the company assets as well as keep up with depreciation and what the asset is worth. The needed hardware includes a thermal label printer, a barcode scanner and portable data collectors.

GPS Employee Tracking

Our mobile computers will allow you to know where all your employees are located at any given time. This can save you time and provide the customer a faster response time by allowing you to know which worker is closest.

Remote Tasking for Employees

Breckline Technologies can help you save time and money by providing the hardware needed to send new tasks without having to call or have the employee return to the warehouse. When a call comes in, send a task to the closest employees’s mobile computer.

Meter Reading

These devices also have the ability to use GPS to verify the correct address is being read at the right time to eliminate false readings.
